Where the slides come from

Every slide in the atlas carries its own credit, in small type under the picture it belongs to. They are gathered here as well, so the collections can be seen at a glance and followed to their own catalogues.

The virtual slide boxes these come from are teaching collections, and they are the reason an atlas like this one can exist at all outside a laboratory.

The books behind the words

The reading the descriptions were written from is being gathered and will be listed here, each work with the chapters the atlas leans on. Until it is, the words on an organ page are the author's own, and a reader who wants the underlying literature should ask for it rather than assume this page is complete.

What may be used again

The atlas's own words and drawings are published under a Creative Commons Attribution, NonCommercial, ShareAlike 4.0 licence. They may be copied, taught from and built upon, for anything but commercial use, as long as the atlas is credited and what is built stays under the same licence.

The photographs of slides are not the atlas's to license. Each belongs to the collection credited beside it and is shown here for teaching; anyone wanting to use one elsewhere should go to that collection for permission.
